Since kids also have vision problems, we used DrPatch, a cartoon character, as our mascot. We want to be as helpful as possible in getting you and your child through a difficult period.

The following Medical Disclaimer applies to the DrPatch Inc. sites, eye-patch-info.com and drpatch.ca.

If you have any medical questions relating to the eye and /or with medication, it is always best to speak with your doctor or a medical professional.

Always Seek Professional Advice

Please Supervise Your Children Always

We here at DrPatch Inc. would also like to advise everyone, especially parents whose child may have vision problems, to always monitor and supervise your child/children.

As an eye patch has to be used on a daily basis and also for several hours a day, it's always a good idea to keep an 'eye' out so that they stay safe.

You may have an older child who has amblyopia, but an infant who is just beginning to walk, for example. We cannot be held responsible for the younger child putting anything in the mouth.

Neither can we be held responsible for pets chewing and choking on an eye patch.

We will not be held responsible for any drugs or any form of medication that you may use, before, during and after wearing these eye patches.

We strongly urge that you use an eye patch exactly as instructed by a medical professional so that you and your family stay healthy and safe.

We do not diagnose any medical conditions, neither do we advocate self-diagnosis. Please be sure to read the instructions of any package and use it only as directed by your healthcare professional.

If any other medical condition should arise, we cannot be held responsible. Please seek medical help immediately.
